About Rohit’s AI Marketing Notes
Hi, I’m Rohit.
You might already know me from LinkedIn or through life.
I work as a Growth Marketing Manager at AddSearch, where I spend most of my time figuring out user acquisition, conversion optimization, customer communication and marketing operations.
Before that, I started my marketing career back in 2016 as an SEO Analyst working at a B2C travel startup. Around 2018, I moved into B2B SaaS and never looked back.
Over the years, my work naturally expanded into full-stack SaaS marketing. User acquisition, funnels, onboarding, conversion optimization, emails, experiments, and product-led growth. A lot of trying, a lot of learning, and a fair share of things not working as planned.
Alongside my full-time role, I also do growth consulting for early-stage SaaS and AI companies. I help teams with user acquisition, funnel optimization, and product-led growth. If you want to know more or book a call, you can find me here: https://rohitchavane.com/

I’m writing this newsletter because AI has quietly become part of my daily marketing work, and I felt it was worth documenting how that actually looks in practice.
How AI Entered My Work (And Why I Decided to Write This)
I don’t come from a technical background. At all.
When AI tools moved beyond basic copy help, my reaction was the same as many marketers. A mix of curiosity and “yeah… I’ll deal with this later.” Then came the scary-looking terminal screens, new tools every week, and a lot of people online confidently explaining things I didn’t fully understand.
I started small. Using AI to tighten copy. Improve clarity. Think through ideas. Nothing fancy.
Over time, I started trying AI for real marketing problems. Building small workflows. Automating boring tasks. Testing tools like Claude, Loveable, n8n, and eventually even Claude Code. Sometimes things worked. Sometimes nothing worked and I had no idea why.
What surprised me was this. AI is not just for developers. Non-tech marketers like me can use it too.
This newsletter is me figuring things out as I go and sharing the process with people who might be in a similar place.
Think of this as a ‘learn in public’ log. Slightly messy. Very practical. And honest about what works and what doesn’t.
What I Share Here and How Often
This newsletter is about using AI in real marketing work.
You’ll find:
AI use cases for marketing, not theory
AI tools and workflows I actually try
How I use AI for copy, research, workflows, and experiments
What worked, what failed, and what wasn’t worth the effort
Short notes and occasional video walkthroughs when it helps
I publish weekly for now. Each issue focuses on one idea or one problem. No mixing ten things in one post. If there’s nothing useful to share, I don’t send anything.
Who This Is For
This newsletter is for:
B2B SaaS marketers
Growth and demand folks
Content marketers and writers
Early-stage founders doing their own marketing
Non-technical people curious about using AI at work
It’s for people who want to try things, break things, and learn by doing.
One Last Thing
If you’ve followed my work on LinkedIn, this newsletter is an extension of that. Practical, honest, sometimes messy, and focused on real work.
If you try something I share and it doesn’t work, reply or comment. If you’re stuck, ask. If you just want to read and try it later, that’s fine too.
If this sounds useful, please do subscribe.
